I've mentally primed myself to spend some time on the Z after sitting for 5 years. Several leaks, missing on a couple cylinders, etc when I parked it, so it needs a lot of diagnostic and troubleshooting out of the gate to get it running again. One of the first things I wanted to do was a cold compression test to get the overall health of the engine, since it has been even longer since I did one. Is this ill advised given how long the car has sat? Should I drop a little oil into the cylinders in advance? Am I overthinking it? -jb
